OGLESBY - Joliet Junior College bounced back after a tough season-opening loss with a 6-0 thrashing of Illinois Valley Community College on Sunday.
Miranda Nirchi led the way for the Wolves scoring three goals. She opened the scoring in the 13th minute with assists from
Jazmin Baltazar and
Emily Jimenez. After a goal by
Katherine Rasmussen, Nirchi scored again in the 20th minute with assitss from
Brittany Delrose and
Yesenia Hernandez.
Taylor Metcalf scored two goals, one in the 40th minute and the other in the 46th minute.
The Wolves' home opener will be on Mon. Aug. 27 at 4 P.M. against South Suburban
