JOLIET - Joliet Junior College split its matches at the DuPage Tournament on Friday.
The Wolves defeated College of DuPage 3-2 (25-19, 18-25, 25-21, 18-25, 16-14) and fell to Bryant & Stratton College (Wisc.) 3-1 (25-11, 20-25, 25-21, 26-24).
The Wolves split the first four sets in the win against DuPage and edged the hosts 16-14 in the fifth and decisive set.
JJC was able to capture the second set, but fell to Bryant & Stratton in its second match of the day.
Cuay Whitener led the Wolves with 11 kills and added 24 digs while
Anna Breausche had eight.
Isabella Cosentino had 25 assists and two aces.
Emma Sweeney led JJC with 25 digs.
