JOLIET - Joliet Junior College couldn't extend its winning streak to nine matches falling 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-17) to Illinois Valley at the Event Center on Thursday. 

Cuay Whitener led JJC (12-9) with 12 kills. Bella Cosentino had a team-high 21 assists while Emma Sweeney led the Wolves with eight digs. 

Cosentino and Shea Kieldyk each had a solo block and two block assists. 

JJC will host its Quad Tournament on Saturday  at 9 A.M. with its first game against Elgin Community College. 

It's second opponent is to be determined.
