JOLIET - Joliet Junior College got on the board first but was unable to hold the lead in a 4-3 loss at home against Rock Valley on Friday.
Eric Anderson got JJC on the board in the 21st minute with an assist from
Noah St. Paul. However, the Wolves offense went silent as Rock Valley scored the next three goals spanning over 46 minutes.
Julio Berthalet put the Wolves within one when he found the back of the net in the 68th minute, but Rock Valley got the goal back just a minute later.
Down by two,
Jorge Navas gave JJC life scoring in the 88th minute with an assist from
Christian Galvan. However, the Rock Valley defense held off the Wolves attack.
Christian Aguayo had eight saves for the Wolves.
JJC will play at 4 P.M. Wednesday at N4C rival Madison.
