JOLIET - Joliet Junior College played tight with Harper taking the first set but dropped the next three in a 3-1 loss at the Event Center on Tuesday.
The first two sets went back and forth with the Wolves taking the first one 27-25, but JJC fell in a tough second set 28-26 before Harper took sets three and four.
Cuay Whitener was excellent with a team-high 16 kills and three aces. She had a double-double with 11 digs.
Bella Cosentino added a double-double with 34 assists and 12 digs.
Emma Sweeney led JJC with 25 digs.
Shea Kieldyk led the Wolves with two solo blocks.
JJC will play at home Thursday against Madison.
