JOLIET -
Miranda Nirchi has been a dominant offensive player all season. She is among the nation's best in goals, assists and points and now has another solid match on her resume.
The sophomore was outstanding scoring all three goals in Joliet Junior College's 3-0 win over College of DuPage on Wednesday.
Nirchi got the Wolves on the board in the 20th minute with assists from
Yesenia Hernandez and
Katherine Rasmussen. Eight minutes later Nirchi struck again. This time the assists came from
Morgan Samp and
Lindsey Bond.
In the 55th minute, Bond and
Taylor Metcalf assisted on the third goal. Goalkeeper
Daisey Quinonez did the rest. She registered a clean sheet piling up eight saves in the match.
The Wolves will host Olivet Nazarene University JV at 4 p.m. on Monday.
