JOLIET - Joliet Junior College came back from down two sets to defeat Kankakee Community College on Thursday at the Event Center. 

The Wolves fell in the first set 25-16 and 25-19 in the second before dominating the third set 25-8, fourth 25-14 and 15-11 in the fifth.

JJC got out to an 8-1 lead in the third and never looked back. Back-to-back aces from Bella Cosentino late helped seal the set for the Wolves. JJC (5-8) used its momentum from the third set and cruised to a win in the fourth sending the match to a fifth and decisive set. 

The Wolves took over the set late in the fifth to pick up the victory.

Cuay Whitener led JJC with 15 kills. 

Cosenti​​​​no had a nice all-around match with six aces, 34 assists, 15 digs and five kills. Shea Kieldyk had three solo blocks for the Wolves. 

The Wolves will play Malcolm X College at 11 A.M. Saturday at the South Suburban College Tournament.
