LOUISVILLE, KY. - Joliet Junior College went 1-2 falling to Nassau in the opening round and then to Muskegon at the NWCA National Duals in Louisville, Ky. on Friday before defeating Itasca in its final match. The Wolves fell 42-15 to Nassau and 34-18 to Muskegon before picking up a 21-16 victory over Itasca.
Nick Dado and
Adrian Cervantes each went 3-0 on the day while
Rodsean Graham won both of his matches.
No. 10 Nassau 42, Joliet Junior College 15
In the Wolves' opening match of the day, Dado (165) and Graham (197) picked up pins. Cervantes (174) won by decision.
Muskegon 34, Joliet Junior College 18
Dado picked up his second win of the day this time by technical fall. Cervantes also won his second match of the day by technical fall.
Anthony Munoz (HWT) won by decision while
Joel Swanson (197) won by forfeit.
Joliet Junior College 21, No. 24 Itasca 16
Dado picked up a win by decision in his third match of the day which helped the Wolves to victory over a ranked opponent.
