The JJC men's basketball team opened their 2019-20 season with a 65-69 loss at Truman College on Nov. 2.

The Wolves led 42-29 at the half, but 18 second half turnovers cost the team the lead.  

Sophomore guards Jayden Gasby and Andre Hughes led the offense, Gasby with 17 points and Hughes with 15. Freshman forward Tewaine (TJ) Wicks had 13 rebounds and 7 blocked shots.  

The 0-1 Wolves travel to Morton College on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Tip-off against the Panthers is scheduled for 7 p.m.
