The JJC men's basketball team opened their 2019-20 season with a 65-69 loss at Truman College on Nov. 2.
The Wolves led 42-29 at the half, but 18 second half turnovers cost the team the lead. Â
Sophomore guards
Jayden Gasby and
Andre Hughes led the offense, Gasby with 17 points and Hughes with 15. Freshman forward
Tewaine (TJ) Wicks had 13 rebounds and 7 blocked shots. Â
The 0-1 Wolves travel to Morton College on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Tip-off against the Panthers is scheduled for 7 p.m.
