The JJC women's basketball team won their home opener, beating Prairie State College 89-59 on Nov. 7. 

Freshman guard Samara Bosman led the offense with 20 points, including 6 three-pointers. Guards Gianna Anderson and Elisha Dunlap added 17 points a piece. Dunlap also led the Wolves with 11 rebounds, and sophomore forward Dasia Norris contributed 9. 

The 2-1 Wolves travel to McHenry County College this Saturday, Nov. 9. Tip-off against the Scots is scheduled for 1 p.m.
