The JJC men's basketball team improved to 6-8 on the season with its second straight home victory, beating Truman College 78-61 on Dec. 12. The Wolves started the game with a 29-7 run and never looked back.

Jayden Gasby (Curie) led the scoring with 22 points. Freshman guard
Omar Policape (Niles North) had 13 points including 4 three-pointers.

Adam Taylor (Providence Catholic) and freshman forward
De'Saunte Tyus (Evergreen Park) contributed 10 points apiece, and freshman forward
T.J. Wicks (Kankakee) added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 blocks.
The Wolves host Lake Michigan College next Wednesday, Dec. 18. Tip-off against the 1-6 Red Hawks is scheduled for 7 p.m.
