JOLIET, IL - The JJC softball team defeated Morton College by a score of 11-3, which earned them their 17th victory of the season.

Mackenzie Melendez (RBI) and Ashley Phelps (2 RBIs) both had 2 hits, each with a home run. Izzy Ortiz, Leah Secor, and Hailey Justak all produced 2 hits, as Laci Meurer (RBI) doubled in the contest.

Rachel Sangston picked up the win on the mound. She struck out 3 in her five innings of work.
