RIVER GROVE, IL - The Joliet Junior College softball team defeated Triton College by a score of 2-1 this afternoon. This victory breaks the school record for wins (34). The 2018 and 1999 (NJCAA Division III national runners-up) JJC softball teams previously held the record of 33 wins in a season. 

Dakota Novak tripled, as Rachel Goff hit a double for the Wolves. Izzy Ortiz, Leah Secor, Lexi Meurer (RBI), and Ashley Decraene (RBI) all earned singles. 

Paityn Smith led the charge striking out 8 batters in seven innings. 

The Wolves (34-14) host N4C rival Rock Valley College on Friday, May 3, 2019. Game time is 3:00 pm.
