FREEPORT, IL - The Joliet Junior College softball team battled it out at Highland Community College and came up with a 12-11 victory.

Lexi Meurer (2B, RBI) went 4-for-4, as Rachel Goff had 3 hits including two home runs and 6 RBIs. Ashley Phelps and Haley Hamilton both had 2 hits. Leah Secor doubled for the Wolves. 

Paityn Smith earned the pitching victory. She struck out 6 over six innings.
