JOLIET, IL - The Joliet Junior College softball team was defeated by Black Hawk College by a score of 5-1.

Ashley Phelps and Leah Secor both had two hits, as Mollie Beckman and Laci Meurer (RBI) both doubled in the contest.

Rachel Sangston took the pitching loss. She went seven innings, allowing 12 hits and five runs while walking one.
