The JJC men's soccer team opened their regular season on Aug. 23 with a 2-1 home win over Illinois Valley Community College. Sophomores Bryan Monroy and Jaime Huichapa scored unassisted goals for the Wolves, and goalie Shane Badertscher had four saves. 

JJC (1-0 overall) hosts Elgin Community College on Tuesday, Aug. 27. Game time is 4 p.m.
