The JJC men's soccer team finished their first N4C matchup of the season in a 0-0 tie at Madison Area Technical College on Aug. 31.
Despite shots on goal by
Alfred Mono,
Ramadhan Olanrewaju,
Christopher Padilla and
Dawson Patterson, the Wolves were unable to score in regulation or overtime. Goalkeeper
Shane Badertscher had seven saves.
"We had two injuries early in the game and had to play regulation time, plus 20 minutes of overtime, with just 11 players," said Head Coach
Cris Trillo. "Without any subs, our team still played a solid game and I am very pleased with our effort."
The Wolves, 1-1-1 overall and 0-0-1 in the N4C, travel to Rock Valley College on Wednesday, Sept. 4. Game time is 4 p.m. The Golden Eagles are 2-1 overall, 0-1 in the N4C.
