The JJC women's soccer team earned their first home victory of the season, beating Rock Valley College 2-1 on Sept. 4.  

With only 4 shots, the Wolves scored twice with goals by Carolina Mata and Andrea Villa. Midfielder-turned-goalie Salma Ramos had 13 saves. 

The Wolves, 2-2 overall and 1-2 in the N4C, travel to Illinois Valley Community College next Thursday, Sept. 12. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
