The JJC women's volleyball team remains undefeated at home, beating Triton College 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 25-17) on Sept. 5.
Madison Buhr led the Wolves with 10 kills, followed by
Asia Owens with eight and
Felicity Jones with seven.
Hope Hambleton had 34 assists.
Taylor Viger-Lide (5) and
Emma Sweeney (4) combined for nine service aces. Sweeney added 16 digs.
"We're on a nice little three-match win streak after a difficult opening weekend," said Head Coach
Dan Brown. "I think we've rebounded nicely from that 0-4 start, and we're building a lot of confidence going into our JJC Mizuno Invite this weekend."
The Wolves, 3-4 overall and 2-0 in the N4C, will host a 16-team tournament, the JJC Mizuno Invite, this weekend. The Wolves begin their tournament play against Lincoln Trail College this Saturday, Sept. 7, at 1 p.m.
