Two members of the Joliet Junior College women's basketball team have earned post-season recognition for their play during the 2019-20 season.

Sophomores Lynese Johnson and Kike Ojo have been named to the All-Region IV and N4C All-Conference teams, with Johnson being voted to the first teams and Ojo being selected to the second teams. As the region's top vote-getter, Johnson is also an NJCAA All-American nominee.

"Because of their hard work and dedication, these two have really developed over the last couple years with us. And their production, especially these last couple weeks, has been phenomenal," said Head Coach Shaun Sanderson. "The other coaches see the damage that they're doing against them, and the numbers prove it. These honors are very well-deserved."

Johnson, a 6'1" forward from Bolingbrook, averaged 16.6 points and 10.7 rebounds per game in 17 games this season. In late January, she was named the NJCAA Women's Basketball Division III National Player of the Week. She was also named the NJCAA Region IV Player of the Week for Division III three times in a five-week span.

Ojo, a 5'10" forward from Bolingbrook, averaged 11.7 points and 9.9 rebounds per game this season. With a total of 307 boards on the year, she ranks third in the region and ninth in the nation.

The Wolves' season ended with a 73-79 loss to Madison College in the NJCAA Region IV Division III tournament semifinal at College of DuPage on Feb. 22. The Wolves finished the season 14-18.
