Wolves Win Season Opener

JJC earned a "W" in their season opener, beating Elgin 2-1 in 10 innings on March 9. 

Brianna Murray and Zoe Ditter led the Wolves with two hits each. Ashley Phelps had the game-winning RBI and Bailey Weck scored both runs. 

Starting pitcher Maria Provenzano went seven innings with five strike outs and Lindsey Bouska got the win in relief, going three innings with one strike out. 

Game 2 was postponed due to darkness and a makeup date is yet to be determined.
