JJC fell 2-1 in OT in their season opener at Madison on April 7.
Sophomore forward
Adan Juarez, Jr. scored the team's lone goal, assisted by freshman midfielder
Emilio Espinosa. Sophomore goalkeeper
Mitchell Romero had 5 saves.
The team also paid tribute to Richard "Tex" Rivera, JJC's long-time assistant director of facility services who passed away this winter, before the game. Tex took tremendous pride in the college's campus, including the Wolves' playing fields.
