The Wolves men's basketball team had three players scoring over 20 points as they beat Elmhurst College JV 104-97.
JJC (3-6) was led by 31 points from Alex Vassilakis, as he also grabbed 14 rebounds. Terrell Taylor added 26 points and Deavion Scales scored 23. The Wolves made 14 3-pointers in the game.
The Wolves led at the break 52-35 and was in control for most of the second half until Elmhurst made a late run. Most of those points coming from beyond the arc as the Bluejays couldn't miss and cut the Wolves lead to just four late in the game.
But key free throws down the stretch by JJC secured their third win of the season.
After back to back games, the men are now off until next Wednesday, Dec 14^th, when they will travel to Illinois Valley College, then take a trip to Minnesota on December 17 & 18.
Next home game is January 4^th, 2023 as the Wolves will host Lake Michigan College.
