The JJC men's soccer team fell to Illinois Valley Community College 3-1 on Wednesday afternoon on the JJC pitch.
Dylan Gustafson opened the scoring for the Wolves with a goal with six minutes remaining in the first half, but IVCC responded with a goal off a corner kick with just :53 seconds left before the break.
The Wolves thwarted two IVCC scoring opportunities early in the first half that were right in front of the net.

"We had opportunities in the second half, but I think we got really frustrated as a team," Coach
Cris Trillo said. "
Josh Cruz had six shots in the second half and we had other opportunities."
The Wolves (1-1) travel to Governors State University on Monday for their next game.
