The JJC women's volleyball team opened their 2022 season with a 25-10, 25-15, 25-23 road win over Illinois Valley Community College on Wednesday evening.
 
Alyssa Ohlund led the Wolves with 11 kills, as Kayla Van Weelden added 10 and Rebecca Ratajczyk had seven.
 
"Reagan Pfeifer did a great job of setting for us tonight and played a big role defensively for us," Coach Dan Brown said. "Everyone did an amazing job of really getting involved with our offense tonight. It's always a relief to get the first match in and even better when you win."
 
Next up for the Wolves is the College of DuPage tournament this weekend.
