After two overtime losses in their last three games, the JJC men's soccer team traveled to Milwaukee on Wednesday afternoon and came away with a 3-0 victory over Milwaukee Area Technical College.
The Wolves now are 2-6 on the season.
"That was a much needed win for us, especially after the overtime losses we have had recently," Wolves coach
Cris Trillo said. "A win like this can really boost the morale and it was great to bounce back with a shutout."
Michal Czaplinski scored twice for the Wolves and
Josh Cruz added a goal, his fifth of the season, to complete the Wolves scoring.
Matias Gallego, who leads the NJCAA DIII in saves, recorded the shutout in goal.
