The Wolves men's soccer team fell to Southwestern Illinois College 3-1 in a home match Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Wolves are now 2-7 on the season and will host Madison (WI) College in an N4C match at 2:00 pm on Wednesday.
The men trailed the Blue Storm early in the first half, but the Wolves' Luis Gonzalez tied the game at 1-1 with under 20 minutes to play in the first half.
SWIC came back and with eight minutes left in the half and scored to go up 2-1.
JJC had great looks at the net in both halves, but just couldn't find the back of the net and SWIC would score the lone goal of the second half to finish out the scoring.
