Joliet Junior College hosted the 16 team Mizuno women's volleyball tournament this past weekend at the Event Center.
 
The Wolves opened the tournament with a four set loss to Lake Land, who won the tournament on Saturday. The Wolves bounced back to beat Bryant & Stratton in five, 3-2. Alyssa Ohlund has 17 kills, with 16 digs by Jessica DeCraene and two solo blocks by KJ Friestad to help seal the win.
 
On Saturday, the Wolves came back to beat Highland CC 22-25, 25-14, 25-20, 25-19 to make the Consolation Final.
 
In that final, the Wolves fell to Lake Michigan College 3-1.
 
With a record of 9-7 the Wolves open N4C Conference play Tuesday at Harper College.
