The Wolves fought tooth and nail Thursday, but couldn't come away with the victory as Joliet falls to Morton College, 77-73.

Eric Troutman led the Wolves (1-3) in scoring, dropping 20 points on the hosts. Mickael Allen also played outstanding basketball, recording a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds while adding four assists and four blocks.

The Wolves' largest lead was by five early in the first half, but they trailed at halftime, 43-29. The second half saw the Wolves climb back in the first six minutes and push Morton throughout the remainder of the game.

While trips to the free throw line were abundant for Joliet, the Wolves struggled to make them all night, finishing 12-for-25. They also committed 24 turnovers.

Alex Vassilakis scored 10 points and had five rebounds, two assists and a steal. Devon Richardson also scored 10 points and recorded a block.

The Wolves will look to rebound on Monday as they continue the road trip to Elmhurst University (JV) for a 7 p.m. tip off.
