Despite a valiant effort by the Wolves, the Joliet men's basketball team fell in overtime Thursday night to Moraine Valley, 93-86.

As the buzzer sounded to end regulation, Romello Ali hit a 3-pointer to give the Wolves (2-7) a shot to win it in overtime.

Eric Troutman led the Wolves with 20 points. Miles Gillespie scored 19 points while Arquis Yancey scored 14 points off the bench for Joliet.

The Wolves return to the JJC Event Center on Saturday when they host College of Lake County at 6 p.m.
