The Joliet Junior College men's basketball team earned its first win of the season Saturday, defeating visiting Kishwaukee College, 55-52.
The Wolves (1-1) were led by
Romello Ali, going 5-for-8 with a 4-for-7 from the three to finish with 15 points and four rebounds.
Miles Gillespie scored 13 points, going 6-for-7 and missing his lone 3-point attempt.
Off the bench,
Mickael Allen scored 14 points going 6-for-8.
The Wolves trailed 27-19 at the half, but outscored Kishwaukee 36-25 in the second half to secure the victory.
Joliet finished with 59.1 percent shooting from the floor and sinking 11-of-16 free throws.
The Wolves will travel for the first time this season on Tuesday, Nov. 14, when they take Waubonsee Community College. Tipoff is 7 p.m.
