It was tough, but Joliet got the job done.

In its second and final game of the Waubonsee Classic, the Joliet men's basketball game earned a hard-fought victory of Aurora University (JV), 78-77.

Devon Richardson sealed the deal for the Wolves (4-9) as he hit a put back as time expired to give Joliet the win. He finished with 17 points.

Alex Vassilakis led the Wolves, earning a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds along with eight assists. Eric Troutman finished with 13 points.

Vassilakis and Troutman each made the Waubonsee Classic All-Tournament Team. 

The Wolves stay on the road as they travel to Benedictine University on Monday to face their junior varsity squad. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
