The Joliet Junior College Baseball team is heading to the NJCAA DIII World Series for the first time since 2015. The Wolves, who won Region 4 on May 15th; took on #3 ranked Owens Community College in a best of three series at Wayne L. King, Jr. Field this past weekend. The Wolves beat Owens 6-0 in the first game on Friday, May 19th, but then dropped the 2nd game 7-4. The Wolves would go on to win the winner take all game 3 on Saturday, May 20th by score of 10-6 giving them their first ever Great Lakes District Championship. The Wolves now head to Greeneville, TN for the NJCAA DIII World Series which willl begin Saturday, May 27th. Stay tuned for more details regarding bracket and results for the World Series.
