Make it five straight for the Wolves as the Joliet women's basketball team cruised to victory over Elgin Community College, 88-59, on Saturday.

"The energy was amazing on the floor and on our bench," said head coach Shaun Sanderson. "Everyone did their job today and it showed with the results of the score."

As they've done all season, it was sophomore Grace Harris and freshman Kiyah Robertson who powered the Wolves (10-9) to the win.

"I had a really fun time today because it felt like everyone on the team was on point and locked in," said Harris, who finished finished with 24 points, three assists, three rebounds and a pair of blocks. "Our second half play was exactly what we needed to secure the win. I think everyone gave it their best and the effort was contagious."

Robertson earned a double-double, scoring 21 points while pulling in 10 rebounds along with a block and a steal.

"We showed patience and attacked when we had the opportunity which lead to a ton of trips to the free throw line," Sanderson said. "This was definitely a good team win."

Joliet is back in action Tuesday as the Wolves travel to South Suburban College. Tip is at 5 p.m.
