This one slipped away from the Wolves.

Despite a hot start that saw Joliet lead by as much as 20, the Wolves couldn't maintain that momentum and fell to Bryant & Stratton College in overtime, 104-99.

The Wolves (11-11) started with a 9-0 run that eventually lead to a 45-33 lead at the half. The Bobcats battled back, outscoring the Wolves 31-14 in the fourth to push the game into the extra period tied at 84-84.

"We let this one get away tonight," Wolves coach Shaun Sanderson said. "We didn't rebound the ball and we didn't get back in transition in key moments of the game. When we fouled, they scored and got the three-point play. We can't do that against a team like Bryant and Stratton -- this is one of the top teams in our region."

Sophomore Grace Harris starred in the loss, shooting 11 of 17 for 32 points, including going 4 of 6 from the three. She finished with seven assists, three steals, two assists and a block.

"Both teams fought hard tonight," Harris said. "It was an exciting game to play and probably to watch as well. I wish we could have pulled out the win, but hopefully we'll have more luck on Thursday."

Fellow sophomore Breanna Fogle shot 73 percent (8 of 11) for 17 points along with nine rebounds and three assists. Ashanti Brown scored 15 points and recorded six assists and four rebounds.

The Wolves finished shooting 54 percent on the night despite the loss.

Joliet travels to College of DuPage on Thursday for a 5 p.m. tip as the Wolves look to get back on track.
