The New Year started just right for the Wolves on Wednesday, when Joliet traveled to Lake Michigan College and earned a 69-52 victory.
Grace Harris led the Wolves (7-9) with 18 points while
Maggie Grady scored 11.
"This was a great start to the new year," Harris said. "We had almost a full team, which has been rare this season. There are definitely still things we can clean up but overall it was a fun game and good win."
"We started and finished the game with great energy and execution," said head coach
Shaun Sanderson. "We have to get better at long scoring droughts. That's the time when we must execute our offense and intensify our defense."
Joliet returns to action on Saturday when the Wolves host Moraine Valley at 1 p.m.
