A strong second half lifted the Wolves to victory Saturday afternoon as the Joliet Junior College men's basketball team finished the Waubonsee Classic with a 91-69 win over Sandburg College.
The Wolves (5-3) were up at the half, 37-35, but were able to pull away late.
Freshman forward
Jeffrey Fleming led the Wolves with 22 points, while sophomores
Devon Richardson and
Romello Ali each added 20. Denyell Rush finished with 14 points. Ali and Fleming were both named to the Waubonsee Classic All-Tournament Team.
Next up for the Wolves is a trip to Illinois Valley Community College on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m.Â
