From the opening tip to the final buzzer, the Wolves controlled the game Saturday as the Joliet Junior College men's basketball team beats host Anoka-Ramsey Community College, 75-63.
Wrapping up their Minnesota trip, the Wolves (12-4) were led by sophomore
Romello Ali and freshman
Jeffrey Fleming. Ali finished with 21 points, six rebounds and three steals while Fleming recorded another double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Fleming added five steals and an assist.
The Wolves led by as much as 23 points late in the first half, ending the night shooting 47.5 percent from the field with a 33.3 percent from beyond the arc. They missed just one free throw of 14 attempts on the night.Â
Sophomore
Miles Gillespie added 16 points, six rebounds, four assists, a pair of blocks and an assist in the win.Â
The Wolves won't return to action until the new year when they host Lake Michigan College on Saturday, January 4 at the JJC Event Center.Â
