Jalen Williams led the Wolves with 28 points as Joliet made a comeback attempt that ultimately fell short to Kankakee Community College on Tuesday. The Wolves lost, 81-72.
Joliet (14-14) fell behind early, trailing Kankakee at halftime, 47-29, after shooting poorly with 12 of 39 from the field. The second half was a different story, as the Wolves outscored the opponent, 43-34, to cut the lead by just seven points with 1:05 left in the game. Unfortunately, the Wolves couldn't capitalize and rally for the win.
Eric Troutman scored 15 points while
Alex Vassilakis and
Mickael Allen each added 10. Allen finished with eight rebounds and five blocks in the game.
The Wolves return to action Thursday when they host Olivet Nazerene University in a 7 p.m. tip.Â
