Joliet Junior College baseball earned a split in doubleheader action on Thursday against College of Lake County.
In Game One, the Wolves (7-10) fell, 4-0. They recorded just three hits in the game compared to Lake County's 10.
Game Two saw the Wolves rally in the sixth inning to take the game, 4-3. Down three, the Wolves scored all four of the runs in that inning.
Dalton Strode provided the game-tying single and on that same hit,
Max Mallindine scored the go-ahead run on a throwing error.
Zack Tarrant had two hits in the game.
Jack Otis (4-1) threw a complete game, pitching all seven innings in which he recorded eight strikeouts.
The Wolves are back in action Sunday when JJC hosts McHenry County College in a doubleheader beginning at noon.
