The Joliet Junior College baseball team split a Friday doubleheader against Carl Sandburg College, dropping the first game before winning the second.
Game One saw the Wolves fall, 8-4.
Dylan Scafuri went 3 for 4 with an RBI while
Mitch Thomas went 2 for 3 with a double and RBI.
Jonny Carrera also went 2 for 3 with a pair of singles.
The Wolves (9-14) won Game Two, 2-1. In the seventh inning and down 1-0, Dalton Stroled hit a two-out, two-run single that scored
Matt Klaess and Mike Vesely to give the Wolves the win. Strode finished 3 for 4 with a double.
Hobbs Dunne was 2 for 3.
Brand Cusack (1-2) earned his first collegiate win on the mound with his first complete gaming, throwing seven innings and striking out seven while allowing four hits and the one run.
The Wolves will stay busy over the weekend as JJC tracels to Rock Valley College on Saturday for a doubleheader beginning at noon.
