It was a rough afternoon for the Joliet Junior College softball team as the Wolves dropped a pair of games to Kishwaukee College on Wednesday.
The Wolves (6-23) were shutout in the first game, losing 10-0 in five innings.
Arianna Jentel (0-7) pitched four of those innings and allowed nine hits and five earned runs.Â
Game Two saw the Wolves hold the lead entering the bottom of the final inning, but for the fifth time this season the Wolves lost in their opponent's final at-bat. The final score was 8-7.
Brooke Kelley led the Wolves in the second game, going 3 for 4 at the plate with a home run and two RBI's along with a pair of runs scored.
Emma Herder went 2 for 4 with three RBI's and a run.
Hailey Hoffmann (1-8) pitched 6.2 innings in which she struck out five batters and allowed four earned runs off six hits.
JJC will host Kankakee Community College on Friday at 2:30 p.m.
