Down 6-1 in the fifth inning, the Wolves battled back to force extra innings against Kankakee Community College and ultimately the Joliet Junior College baseball team won on a walk off hit, 8-7.
Zack Tarrant had the walk off hit in the 11th inning, pushing
Matt Klaess home for the win. Tarrant finished the day 4 for 6 with a pair of RBI'S.
The Wolves (18-25) racked up 18 hits on the day.
Dylan Scafuri finished 5 of 6 with two doubles and two RBI's.
Dalton Strode went 3 for 5.Â
Gavin Sebby earned the win on the mound for the Wolves, throwing three innings and striking out two.
Jack West pitched four innings of relief, allowing two earned runs and striking out five.
JJC travels to Kankakee tomorrow for a 3 p.m. game.
