After a week off, the Joliet Junior College softball team was back in action Friday as the Wolves split a doubleheader with Milwaukee Area Technical College.
The Wolves lost the first game, 19-3, in five innings.
Emma Herder hit a home run and went 2 for 3 with three RBI's.
Hailey Hoffmann (0-3) pitched 1.1 innings, allowing eight hits and nine runs.
Game Two saw the Wolves get back on top, winning 6-1. Herder went 4 for 4 at the plate with a double and pair of RBI's.
Jessica Marcin went 2 for 4 with three RBI's and a run scored.
Jenna Judge (2-1) pitched seven innings in which she struck out eight while allowing one run and five hits.
The Wolves (3-10) are back in action Saturday when the team travels for an afternoon doubleheader against Morton College. First pitch is scheduled for noon.
