The Joliet Junior College baseball team faced a tough opponent in Division II foe Madison College on Saturday, losing both games of the doubleheader at Wayne L. King Field.
Game One saw both teams entering the sixth inning scoreless before No. 18 Madison powered past the Wolves, 6-0.
Jack Otis (6-2) allowed six hits and two earned runs while striking out three.
Mason Heitzler went 1 for 3 at the plate for a triple.
Game Two went into extra innings deadlocked at 1-1 before JJC gave up the go-ahead score.
George Limacher got the start for the Wolves, pitching five innings and allowing just one run and four hits.
Gavin Sebby took the loss, pitching 3.1 innings and allowing two hits and a run.
Ryan Holloway recorded a pair of hits for the Wolves.
JJC continues with a Sunday afternoon game at Black Hawk College at noon.
