The Joliet Junior College women's soccer team earned a shutout victory Wednesday over Triton College, 3-0, behind a trio of early goals.

Jalyssa Villafuerte powered the Wolves (4-4) with goals scored in the 9th and 15th minutes. Both were assisted by Cara Planeta. Jazmin Rodriguez scored in the 11th minute with help from Kendra Vasquez. The Wolves finished with 17 shots on goal.

Goalkeeper Mikayla Adrieansen saved the four shots she faced.

The Wolves return to action Saturday at 10 a.m. when they host Moraine Valley.
