The Wolves extend their win streak to nine games as the Joliet Junior College men's basketball team beat Kennedy King on Thursday, 63-48.
Freshman
J.D. Rush powered the Wolves (14-4) with 20 points while freshman
Jeffrey Fleming recorded a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds.
"It was a very physical game and we showed some grit and focus," said coach Danny Turner. "I was very pleased with that phase of the game tonight."
The Wolves controlled the game from start to end, holding a 33-29 advantage at the half.
Sophomore
Devon Richardson finished with 9 points and 10 rebounds while
Romello Ali had a stat line of 8 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals.
The Wolves get a bit of time off before returning to action Saturday, January 18 at Malcolm X for a 3 p.m. tip.
