Despite a commanding presence on the pitch, the Wolves could not convert shots into goals as Joliet Junior College men's soccer battled Kankakee Community College to a scoreless draw on Wednesday.
The Wolves (5-4-2) tallied 28 shots on the day, including 20 on goal, but failed to slip it past the Cavaliers' goalkeeper. Head coach Cris Tillo said he "made unbelievable saves."
"This was a missed opportunity to get a win," Trillo said. Wolves' goalkeeper
Ivan Escatel had two saves in the game.
The Wolves travel Saturday to Richard J. Daley College in Chicago for a noon kick.
