Box Score The Wolves got off to a fast start and held firm Friday as Joliet Junior College women's basketball won over host Elgin Community College, 68-47.
Sophomore
Demi Page led the Wolves (3-0) with 13 total points, going 5-of-13 from the field with nine points on eight tries from beyond the arc.Â
"I thought this game we came out with low intensity but as the game went along, we came and played together which helped us stretch the lead," she said. "Overall, this was a good first road win."
The Wolves took a 25-13 lead after the opening frame, and extended their lead to 38-25 at the half. They shot 37% from the field and went 8-of-12 from the free throw line.

Samantha Cassanova scored 11.
"Well, this was our first time playing on the road and it showed," said Wolves coach
Shaun Sanderson. "Our young players got to experience a different environment after traveling on the road. Despite having a lead in the first half, we knew we could play better.
"We settled down and things started to open up for us. It's good to know that we're capable of maintaining and growing a lead on the road."
The Wolves return to the JJC Event Center on Monday when they host Milwaukee Area Technical College at 5 p.m.
