02.23.2025

A back-and-forth contest didn't go the Wolves' way on Saturday as Joliet Junior College men's basketball fell to Owens Community College, 82-72, in a Sub-District postseason game.

"We had many chances to extend the lead in situations, but give Owens credit," said Wolves coach Danny Turner. "Their focus was greater than ours."

Devon Richardson powered the Wolves, scoring 20 points and hauling in 17 rebounds. Jeffrey Fleming also recorded a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds. J.D. Rush finished with 18 points while Miles Gillespie added 16 poins and seven rebounds.

The Wolves will await their fate as an at-large bid is in play for the NJCAA Division III National Tournament.
